Potters Hands

Recently finished (at least I hope so) quite big coding job, create new functionally, make some refactoring implement some backward compatibility, so wow, it was cool not depending on some noisily circumstance. I am not doing “big coding” sufficiently long ago (maybe month
), so feel again partly lost feeling of the creator.
I feel myself like a potter, first take something completely raw and formless, and imagine the form, size, interface and data flow. After that start to twirl the potter’s wheel and making thing look like I see them. Sometimes stopping, looking at the result, adding some clay and make a correction… As always feel fear during the startup and excitement for getting results when part of the job behind. Potters hands doing the job. And now code ready, but it is still not finished, baking in the future - which means code review by me and other people, proving that GUI is good, doing manual testing and covering code with the unit tests. So the wheel still whirling…
